Chateau Auguste – Entre-Deux-Mers

Château Auguste is a 74-acre Bordeaux Superieur estate located in the Right Bank region of Bordeaux within the Entre-Deux-Mers appellation. The enchanting name “Entre-Deux-Mers” – translated as “between two seas” or “tides” – refers to the Garonne and Dordogne rivers that form the boundaries of the triangular region. For thousands of years, the two rivers have deposited sand and gravel, eventually building up a sub rock of limestone. Given the fertile landscape, ancient Romans were the first to plant vineyards here, with monks later developing the area during the Middle Ages. The estate is organically farmed, with the Château producing more than 16,000 cases a year.

Château Gaby – Canon-Fronsac

Château Gaby is an estate located in the Canon-Fronsac appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux, France and produces some of the region’s finest wines. For years, this appellation has been considered an insider’s secret, but its quality has recently attracted attention worldwide. Château Gaby and Château Gaby Cuvee wines are produced entirely from older vines grown on the limestone-rich hills of the Gaby estate. Flanked by the Dordogne River, the picturesque hills of the satellite appellation of Canon-Fronsac boast the same characteristics as those of the renowned Saint-Émilion appellation. Limestone soils with clay subsoil and natural drainage combined with perfect sun exposure produce favorable ripening conditions for all grape varieties, especially the Cabernet Franc, which is used in increasing proportions in the final blend of Château Gaby’s wines.

Located just an hour’s drive east from the city of Bordeaux, Château Gaby is a jewel of the Canon-Fronsac appellation. Nestled on a hilltop overlooking the vineyards, the 18th-century château is a stunning representation of the area’s long history of winemaking.

The first vines were planted on Gaby’s hills in the 1600s. Today, the estate produces some of the world’s finest Bordeaux wines. Lovingly restored in 2006, the interior of the château reflects the beauty of Bordeaux’s countryside. The view from the chateau is spectacular and considered the most beautiful panoramic viewpoint in all of Bordeaux.

Château du Parc Grand Cru – Saint-Émilion

Château Du Parc is an estate located in the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux, France, one of the oldest and most prestigious wine-producing regions in all of Bordeaux. This world-renowned area is known for the region’s finest wines due to its diverse terroir. At Château Du Parc, we strive for excellence by hand-picking only the finest grapes that produce the highest quality wine to ensure our wine reflects the true essence of the appellation.

Saint-Émilion appellation is situated on the right bank of the Dordogne river and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area has a rich wine history dating back to ancient Romans. Historians believe that this area is the oldest active wine-producing appellation in the Bordeaux region and was the first region in Bordeaux to export its wine.

One of the region’s most noteworthy features is a wide range of terroirs throughout the appellation. Limestone, gravel, sand, clay, and iron deposits are abundant throughout. Even from vineyard to vineyard, the terroir can be completely different, making the taste and texture of the wine vary greatly. Merlot and Cabernet Franc are the two most important grapes used to produce wine in Saint-Émilion. This area is now one of the largest producing regions in Bordeaux with 5,565 hectares (13,750 acres) dedicated to vines and with 800 producers. These vineyards are divided into two classifications of non-classified or Grand Cru terroir. Due to the amount of land allocated to vineyards, Saint-Émilion produces almost 4% of the red wine made in Bordeaux each year. Although the region produces a high volume of wine, this area produces some of the highest-quality wine in the country.
