Alaina’s background is in marketing, and she is passionate about bringing people and what they love to do (and drink) together. She worked in tourism marketing for nearly a decade in Aspen, Colorado, and in the local wine industry for the past eight years. She’s excited to introduce you to your new favorite wine or experience at Lake District Wine Co.
Her wine glass is always half full with an Austrian Grüner Veltliner, a Georgian Saperavi, or a Michigan Dry Riesling.

Kristy brings a decade+ of wine industry and a lifetime of hospitality experience to Lake District Wine Co. Her energetic and bubbly personality are the perfect pairing to her passion for creating fun, educational, and interesting events.
Kristy curates our tasting events and works directly with our distributors to bring you the best wine, beer, and cider possible!
After 50 years in the business (38 years at Village Corner in Ann Arbor and ten years as Owner of Bon Vin), it’s safe to say that Ric knows wine. Having tasted tens of thousands of wines, the wines that he’s chosen for the store are approachable, unpretentious, and delicious. Ric’s philosophy on selling wine is education, and he loves exposing customers to the broader world of wines. 95% of the wine he consumes is what he pairs with dinner, and his pairing suggestions are always spot on.
